St Matthew in-the-City Brand Refresh
Launched Sept 2017 St. Matthew in the City’s brand identity had become confused with many outdated and inconsistent elements. With an established, positive brand image in its community, the task in refreshing the brand identity was not one of radically reinventing the brand but of articulating its vision more clearly and ensuring that it is reflected accurately and in a contemporary way in all its communication. A brand identity workshop was used to give them a clear understanding of who they are and what they wanted to emphasise, before embarking on a redesign. BRAND IDEA: OPENING DOORS, OPENING HEARTS, OPENING MINDS "In 2016 St Matthew in-the-City began a process to refresh our brand. Without Margaret's work we would have been at sea when it came to briefing a designer. Her workshop and guidance gave us a clear understanding of who we are and what we wanted to emphasise. Margaret set us on the right path in understanding ourselves so we could then begin to communicate that to others. She was very generous with her time and encouragement."
